MEDICAL ASSISTANT (MA) (Cambridge, Ohio)
Job Description
Hiring for 1st, 2nd, 3rd & weekend shift positions.
The Medical Assistant performs a variety of duties related to providing Client care. Services will be provided within our Withdrawal Management Facility in Cambridge, Ohio - The Residence at Cedar Ridge.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain health history, check vital signs
- Enter and track medications within the agency Electronic Health Record system
- Medication observation during medication pass
- Administer injections and collect specimens
- Document patient care using electronic health record software
- Schedule after-care appointments, complete prior authorizations, process medication refills, handle referrals, answer calls and complete paperwork
- Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with minor, in-office procedures

Required Qualifications:
- High School/GED

- 1+ year of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant

RECOVERY SUPPORT SPECIALIST (Cambridge, Ohio)
Job Description
Full and Part-Time Positions available for all shifts.
The Recovery Support Specialist’s primary responsibility is for the care and supervision of adults residing at one of our residential treatment facilities (comprehensive drug & alcohol recovery centers and withdrawal management facilities). Recovery Support Specialists are responsible for implementing assigned treatment services, including physical, mental, emotional, social and spiritual well-being and maintaining accurate daily documentation of services provided.
Qualifications: An individual in this position must be able to complete the above responsibilities on a daily basis. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience
- All Support Specialists must be at least 21 years of age and must have completed high school or its equivalency
- Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certificate preferred but not required
- An Associates degree in a social service field preferred but not required
- Prior experience working with substance abuse and/or mental health individuals
- Ability to work successfully in a team environment
- High-quality written and verbal skills
- Must be willing to get Chemical Dependency Counselor Assistant (CDCA) certificate if requested by administration.

- Oversee the completion of resident chores
- Plans and organizes activities and educational groups for residents which promote change and growth in areas identified on their Individual Service Plans.
- Monitor resident behavior, functioning and symptoms, as well as progress towards treatment goals and objectives.
- Present as a role model for residents in establishing relationships, maintains professional care/client boundaries
- Complete all required paperwork daily and participate and satisfactorily complete all required training, supervision and team meetings
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
- May be involved in the planning, organization, and implementation of special events or department specific projects or seasonal program changes.
- Interacts verbally with clients, families, co-workers, and representatives from outside agencies
- Maintain confidentiality of all client information and records
- Comply with all agency policies and procedures
- In times of need, may be asked to complete related duties other than those indicated above as assigned by his or her supervisor.

- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Direct patient care experience (STNA, CNA, Home Health Aide).
- Preferred experience with breastfeeding (either personal or with clients).
- Interest in working with women and families during perinatal time (pregnancy, birthing, and postpartum).
- Ability to learn about and apply support and care for Postpartum Mood Disorders (PMADs)
- Interest in working with clients who have SUD and other Mental Health diagnoses.
- Current CPR training (CRBHS can provide certification if needed).

Cedar Ridge is seeking a full-time Cook within the Culinary Department at our new Withdrawal Management facility located in Cambridge, Ohio - The Residence at Cedar Ridge. Position will prepare, season, and cook meat, fowl, vegetables, soups and deserts, and portion servings. Previous cooking experience for large quantities of people in a restaurant or hospital is preferred.
